ABOUT COVENTRY BOROUGH FC
ESTABLISHED IN 2026. BUILT IN COVENTRY.
OUR STORY
Coventry Borough Football Club was established in 2026 with a clear ambition — to build a competitive, well-run football club that represents Coventry both on and off the pitch.
The club began its journey ahead of the 2026/27 season, bringing together a new squad of players and staff with the aim of creating something that can develop and grow year after year.
Coventry Borough currently compete in Division 4 of the Tracey Thomas Leamington & District Sunday Football League, with our home matches played at Folly Lane Sports & Social in Coventry.
OUR IDENTITY
From day one, we have wanted Coventry Borough to be more than simply a team that turns up on a Sunday.
We want to build a club with high standards, a strong dressing room and an identity that players and supporters can be proud to represent.
On the pitch, Borough aim to play positive, possession-based football, with an emphasis on playing with confidence, competing for one another and continually improving as a team.
Off the pitch, we are committed to building a professional and welcoming environment while growing the club's presence within the local community.
The 2026/27 campaign marks the first chapter in Coventry Borough's story.
As a new club, there is plenty still to build — but our ambition is to establish Coventry Borough, continue progressing both on and off the pitch, and create a club capable of achieving long-term success.
